Parks, Recreation Sites and Trails

It’s important to be aware of the changes regarding access to our parks and trails in Quesnel and area. There are different governing bodies; the Province of BC and the City of Quesnel.

If you’d like to visit a park, rec site or trail but you’re not sure if it’s open to the public or who the governing body is, please use the links below to search before you go.

The City of Quesnel is responsible for most parks and trails within municipal boundaries.

The City of Quesnel has made the following changes to City parks and trails:

Dog Park
Use at your own risk. Remain 2-metres apart at all times.

Parks and Playgrounds
All playgrounds are closed. Parks are currently open. Remain 2-metres apart at all times.

Skate Park
Open – Use at your own risk. Remain 2-metres apart at all times.

Tennis and Pickleball courts
Open – Use at your own risk. Remain 2-metres apart at all times.

Sports Fields
All baseball and sports fields are closed.

Spray Park

City trail systems are still open, but users MUST practice social distancing of 2 metres from others.
