Description / Notes:

Approximately 10 minutes from downtown, this lake is a year-round stop for recreation. In the summer enjoy sandy beaches, swimming and hiking. A nature trail to a large beaver pond offers the chance to view diverse wildlife up close, without busy tourist traffic.

As temperatures drop and lakes freezes over you can cross country ski, snowshoe or head out on the ice to ice fish. Winter offers cross-country skiing opportunities and snowshoeing through 10 km of trails.

Note: Rods, reels, augers and tackle boxes can be borrowed free of charge from the Quesnel Visitor Centre
